Ho-Hum. Another Week – Another 50 Doctors Convicted of Major Crimes

How does Obama Care address these clinical cretins? It doesn’t

Yes, 50 doctors per week; 210 is the average for a typical month. These jaw-dropping numbers are the sad “normal” in American healthcare. No other profession generates such preposterous volume of crime. Here are but a few medical miscreants in court over the past seven days:

What other profession carves such a monstrous swathe of destruction through an otherwise intelligent society?

None. Not a one.

Just makes you proud to call yourself an American, doesn’t it?

Bump, Bump, Bump – Another One Bites the Dust . . .

A New York physician has finally confessed to faking and bungling his way through literally thousands of surgeries over a five-year reign of terror in the city of Fishkill.

According to investigators, Doctor Spyros Panos was charged with healthcare fraud because he falsified medical records, which resulted in millions of dollars in excess payments to him and his medical practice, Mid-Hudson Medical Group.

On the day of his sentencing the courthouse in White Plains New York was packed with his victims. Investigators say 260 patients have sued the lab coat lunatic so far.

“I wish I could tell you I had noble motives for my actions, but I did not,” Panos said. “I did this out of greed. The influx of money I was bringing into Mid-Hudson increased my pay and earned me the admiration of my fellow shareholders. It was as simple as that.”

Panos, an orthopedic surgeon, was sentenced to 4 1/2 years in federal prison for Healthcare Fraud. He was ordered to re-pay the government $5,000,000 for Medicare theft and fined $250,000. He was ordered to surrender his medical license.

Spanos MD is a graduate of Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University, in New York. We suspect he is not the most popular alumnus of his medical school.
